Why Haiti?
The earthquake that recently hit Haiti has been called the epicenter of one of the greatest natural disasters the world has seen this side of the century!
An estimated 200,000 people are dead and more are hurt or orphaned.
Haitians who once turned to Vodoo for the answers are now searching for truth and many are ready to hear about the message of Christ and will trust in him for the very first time.
If there was ever a time to reach out and be the hands of feet of Jesus...it's now. If there was ever a place to feed the hungry, visit the sick, and take care of orphans and widows...it's Haiti.
Sacrificial Acts of Love
Participants will work alongside eachother to bring a sense of order back into a Haitian community.
During the course of this trip, we will help with the clean up by clearing rubble and helping to set up a refugee camp, facilitating a medical clinic, and restoring an orphanage.
We will also get a chance to pray for and encourage many who have lost everything.
HOW YOU CAN GET ON A HAITI RELIEF TRIP:
We are in communication with partners on the ground in Haiti and we are monitoring the situation and sending in disaster relief teams.
These projects will be open to Global Expeditions Alumnia and Teen Mania's Honor Academy alumni and current interns (some exceptions allowed).
In order to apply for these trips, you must already have your passport and be ready to provide a $300 deposit to hold a spot. We will accept participants on a first come first serve basis.
Steps to get on these trips:

- Once you get an email that your application has been accepted, you will receive your ID#. You will need to donate your $300 deposit at that time.
- All applicants will then be reviewed and placements confirmed. You will receive an email/call notifying you of your trip spot.
- You will need to send in your Travel Release Forms no later than 15 days before your trips' start date, or your seat will be considered forfeit.
Haiti Relief trips are for the following dates:
- April 11-19 *must be 18+ yrs [TRIP FULL]
- May 14-22 *must be 18+ yrs [TRIP FULL]
- July 20-Aug 3 *must be 18+ yrs
